Davna – She’s a Star in the Making

Davna, a friend of our family, her parents asked if we could capture some head shots and audio/video recordings of her singing a few songs for her portfolio. She’s a talented young lady and her parents are deep in their efforts to advance her career. Although I had no concerns of doing the headshots, I had never really done a live recording and didn’t have the equipment or the sound booth to capture studio quality recordings. Instead, I hunger a few packing blankets from some c-stands and added a DIY pop filter in front of the Zoom recorder while splitting the audio into her headphones and my camera. This is what we got:
